This will be your tennis resource site for this year. There will be five parts: conditioning, techniques, drills, rules and practice plan.

Condition resources is a page where we can offer you ideas on how to improve your conditioning and stamina. Here you can find helpful information about static and dynamic exercises that will help you become stronger as a player.

Techniques on the six basic strokes: the serve, forehand groundstroke, backhand groundstroke, forehand volley, backhand volley, and the overhead smash. Here you will find ideas on how to improve each stroke.

Drills you can use to get ready for the upcoming season.

Practice schedule outline

  • October 2, 2020: Introductions, reviewed COVID protocol, players started with short court moved to baseline - BREAK - Players began to play points down the line and cross court, practice finished playing tie-breakers.

  • October 9, 2020: COVID screening and check-in, start practice with warm-up conditioning (5-10 minutes), move to short court warm-up (5 minutes) - BREAK - Introduce Area, Balance and Contact (ABC) forehand (5 minutes); play points, singles down the line and crosscourt (15 minutes)- BREAK - Finish with "Build a team" game.
